debtor-creditor issues and
professional liability law
topics for among others, IICLE,
the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin,
and the Illinois Creditors Bar
Association and has lectured on
debtor-creditor issues for the
Illinois Creditors Bar
Association and the Illinois

Ira
is a member of the Illinois
State Bar Association, formerly
serving on its Committee on
Judicial Evaluations and as a
CLE Coordinator for the
Commercial Banking, Collections
& Bankruptcy Section
Council, the Decalogue Society
of Lawyers, where he is
currently serving as a member of
the Board of Managers, member of
the CLE Committee, member of the
Ways and Means Committee and the
Illinois Creditors Bar
Association, formerly serving as
president and as a member of the
Board of Directors. Ira is also
currently serving as a member of
the Board of Directors of the
Lawyers’ Assistance Program,
pursuant to an appointment by
the Illinois Supreme Court and
has been elected as treasurer of
the Board of Directors.
Ira
earned his B.A. from Northern
Illinois University and his J.D.
from DePaul University College
of Law, where he served as a
member of the Law Review.
